The Neglected Little Blog and Other Miscellaneous Stories..

Oh my. I can't believe i haven't blogged since November. I remember 'round about December i kept saying "i haven't blogged in a while, i'll do that now" and then just getting sidetracked. Then as time went on i just kept thinking "so much has happened, it's too much to blog about" so i put it off further.

Today, i signed in for the first time since November. I've missed my blog. I know no one reads it, but i like writing posts. So hopefully i'll start posting regularly again now.

Oh my. So much has happened in these last 6 months. I'm not even kidding. It's been the most stressful, hectic, emotional 6 months of my life so far. I'm actually struggling to remember everything that's happened. There was so much that happened and i kept thinking "i really want to blog about this, this is amazing" and then just never getting round to it. Which is making this post really difficult for me 'cause i just don't know what to write about. Maybe i'll just give you some pictures?

Let's start with looking at my appearance. Looking back, it's insane how much i change my appearance. I mean i knew i liked to change it a lot. But this is insane. I'm back to blonde now, and i'm happy with it. So i don't think i'll be changing my hair colour again for quite some time.

Now onto some events from these past months.

I'm sorry if some of that is hard to read. The captions don't really matter much anyways. I realise these pictures wont mean anything to anyone who reads this. But they really do mean so much to me. So much has happened in these past months. These were some of the best parts. And although it would have been nice if i could have written about everything in detail, i feel these photos make up for it.

Baby It's Cold Outside..

Well hi there. It's blogging time again. The time to try and fit the past month into a short blog. I'll try keep it as short as possible anyways. :3

Okay so let's try think about what happened since my last blog. Well, i dyed my hair bright pink :3 We also saw the new Harry Potter film of course. And of course, it was amazing.

But onto the interesting stuff. On Saturday night we were off to an engagement party for Daryl's uncle. We'd been looking forward to it for quite a while, even Mrs Patrick was getting sick of hearing about it :'] So yeah, we spent the day getting ready and stuffs. Then set off to the train station. Oh and did i mention the snow? Well yeah, it snowed here. A lot. Like, the most snow we've had for years :D Happy, happy Cara :3

So anyways, yeah so we're at this party, with a ton of Daryl's relatives that we've never met. I have to say it was a tad awkward at first. But y'know, after the first drink it was fine xD So eventually, after a few more drinks, we managed to get everyone up dancing :'] Now you should know, i *hate* dancing. I never dance, ever! So this was an achievement :'] The only thing was, whenever we all got up dancing, everyone would stare at us! I guess it was 'cause we were the youngest and drunkest people there..At one point, we were dancing and Daryl decided to bring his gran over to dance with us all. So we're dancing and all of a sudden Daryl just decks it and falls to the floor :'] One of the funniest moments of the night. So yeah, afterwards we all headed back to Daryl's house for the night. I hate to say that i can't actually remember what we actually did. I remember not sleeping at all and we actually headed out to McDonalds at 6am ;_; In the snow. So yeah..we all stumbled into McDonalds at 6:01am (they open at 6...) and had breakfast. Then back to Daryl's house where me, Alex and Callum attempted to get some sleep. Which didn't work out too well :'] So anyways, yeah. It was a really good night xD The annoying thing is i don't actually have any decent photos that i'm willing to share :'] What a shame. xD

Now, on Sunday i was too dead to do anything. I had absolutely no intentions of going into school the next day. I was praying for a snow day. At one point mother came up and was like "Well you best hope it is a snow day tomorrow 'cause it doesn't look like you're doing any homework" xD And sure enough, after a lot of research i eventually found out it was a snow day :D I don't think i did anything interesting except for me and my sister watched The Magic Roundabout :3

So Tuesday was a snow day as well which we were all stoked about as my plan was to drag my friends down to the park with pool inflatables to go sledging :D So we headed down with three lilos and one giant ring :D We looked insane walking down there which was fun :'] It was an amazing day xD Sledging was fucking awesome. :3 So here's a wee video :']

So yeah, that was my day today. :3 And it was awesome :D And to make it even better, we found out we have a 3rd snow day in a row tomorrow :D Happy, happy Cara.

Yup.

Wowee. Okay, okay i didn't blog in October like i promised myself i would. So i have a hell of a lot of stuff to write about now. xD

Now i need to try and think about what on earth i've been doing for the last month or so. Well, about 5 weeks ago i decided i was bored of my red hair. So i decided to go bleach blonde. It's...different. xD A bit of a shock when i first saw it. I got a lot of people doing double takes and not recognising me when i went into school with it for the first time. When i walked into registration suddenly everyone in the class simultaneously went 'woah" :'] It took a while to get used to. xD
So then, after that it was my birthday on the 17th of October. So my friends threw me a birthday party on the 9th and the theme was dinosaurs ;D Then the day after that, a couple of us headed off to a hotel in Glasgow for the night. So we went out for dinner in the town centre then back to the hotel for a *few* drinks. So yeah, 'twas a good night. Then, the next morning however, i got woken up at about 6am when i hear a beeping and think to myself "that's the hotel's fire alarm..I should really wake Alanna and the others up.." then decided to stay in bed until Alanna wakes up and goes "Is that a fire alarm?" So yeah, we had to get up, i decided to change out of my pyjama shorts and into warmer jeans, grabbed a pair of shoes and my phone and ran out of the room carrying my shoes. Alex and Daryl were already out their room so we headed down and had to wait outside in the cold for quite a while. It was freezing. It was early morning. It wasn't good. :'] Then after we were let back in, Alex and Daryl realised they'd ran out the room without their room key. So yeah. It was a...memorable birthday to say the least :']

Then, on my actual birthday, mother took me into Glasgow and i finally got my lip pierced. Yes. I was actually brave enough to do it :D So yeah, happy happy Cara. :]

Oh yeah, me and my sister went to see Amy MacDonald on the 21st. 'Twas an amazing night. ^^

So i guess the last thing i have to write about is Halloween. Once again, me and my sister had a party on Saturday. :3 We got up to our usual antics. There's not actually that much i can really write about it so i'll just give you some pictures i guess. :3

I have an amazingly interesting bunch of friends xD

So there's me looking lovely as a zombie school girl. :']

So that's basically what i've been up to. I've also been job hunting with Morv to save up for our Road Trip which we're currently planning. But that's a different story.

Long time no speak, eh?
Someone just told me, that someone told them that a fear of heights can be caused because you are afraid you will throw yourself off a tall building. All of the people that were with me last Sunday are now fully aware of my extreme fear of heights. So, this means that i fear that someday, i will throw myself off a tall building. Therefore i am terrified of heights? Personally i think they're talking crap :'] But it kind of makes sense...In a way...I think.

Anyway, once again i do apologise for being lazy and not blogging (here we go again). I really hate doing these quick re-call of the last month posts. But i'm afraid i have no other choice. >.>

**Thinks really hard** What on earth have i even done in the last few weeks? **Strokes chin**

Oh, i got my bedroom re-painted. Then i started drawing on the walls of course xD
Saw Lostprophets for the 2nd time and Young Guns for the 3rd time. Oh, and i caught Young Guns' drumstick. Which made my whole week of course. <3
We hung out in Hamleys and met 'Elliot the Pimp' and did the YMCA with the staff.
I've been to 3 University Open Days: Glasgow Uni, Glasgow Caledonian and Edinburgh Uni.
We hung out in Hamleys again ('cause we're cool like that) and Morv hit a stranger in the face with a boomerang.
It was my mother's birthday.
And last but not least, went to Daryl's house party last night. Met a boy called Muffins who was awesome. Watched people play the xbox. Made an emotional pact with Connor. Climbed walls. Went to the skate park at 2am. Watched Muffins pole dance (he's surprisingly very skilled). And many other banterous memories (which i shall spare you the details on) before finally falling asleep with Sean over me at 5am for an hour or so. 'Twas a good night. :']
In truth, it's been a pretty shit month but to be honest, all this stuff, especially last night, has made up for it all. :]

Teenager Apocalypse..

Yes i'm back for another boring blog post. Can i just start by saying that my blog posts have the most random names ever? I'm sure you've noticed it as well. XD But anyways, the reason i'm blogging is 'cause the other day i posted what i expected my exam results to be. Today, i got the results. So now i get to compare my estimates, to what i actually got. When i read my results i was genuinely shocked about them. xD So here i go.

Modern Studies: B
Product Design: B
Biology: 2
Maths: 3

So yeah i'm really pleased with how i done actually. xD All i can think of is what Miss Anderson (my bitch of a product design teacher) thinks of me now considering she hated me. I'm pretty sure she thought i was going to fail. XD Hell, i was sure i was going to fail that :']
So i hope everyone else got the grades they were hoping for. <3
So yeah urmm i don't really have anything else to write about now. xD

Cupcake Surgery..

Ohai there. It's August now. :3 Just thought i'd announce that xD Also, while i'm pointing out random things, i was just looking at my last blog post and has anyone else realised that i have the exact same smile in every photo ever taken of myself. I've noticed it. It's rather annoying XD

Anyways, back to what i'm meant to be writing about. The other day i found this tutorial thing on how to make a cute hat. And, due to a lack of anything better to do, i decided to dig up some old clothes, cut them up and make my own version of this hat. So yeah, there's a photo of my 'cat-hat'. It has cat ears. Just in case you can't see or aren't able to realise that from the name. xD

So after i made the hat i kind of got into the mood for making stuff y'know? Like a bit of a creative bug? Yeah so this blog is basically just going to show you some stuff i've made in the last few days. And yes, i have no life.

So i basically raided my dad's wardrobe to find old clothes. xD So yeah, i made this dress out of one of my dad's old baggy t-shirts. Not bad, eh? xD

I also stole 2 of my dad's shirts, my original plan being to make a dress out of them but that didn't work out. So now i've just kept them 'cause they're cool. :D

I made this headband purely because i had absolutely nothing else to do. Actually i was just putting off the stuff that i had to do. So here's a photo of me looking stupid while modelling this fabulous headband. XD

So on Wednesday we're having a birthday part for Morven so today my sister dragged me out of bed. Literally. So i was just like lying curled up into a ball screeching/roaring as she took away my pillows, cover, opened my curtains etc etc. So i eventually got up and then eventually we started preparing some food for the party. We made jelly :3 Making jelly reminds me of when i was a child. But anyways, we also made cupcakes. But not just any cupcakes. The coolest fucking cupcakes ever.

Yeah. Cookie Monster and Elmo cupcakes. It took us ages to do them (we made a bit too many of them)

We had this great system set up. I'd cut a chunk out of a cupcake big enough to fit a small cookie, my sister would ice it, i'd put a cookie in it's mouth, cover it with coconut (to give it the fuzzy look xD) and give it some eyes. It was so much fun.

So yeah that's everything interesting i've made recently. Hope you enjoyed reading about it. XD

I saw Hadouken on Friday along with Unicorn Kid and Darwin Deez. They were all fucking amazing. Seriously. I never thought i could love Unicorn Kid any more but it turns out i was wrong. xD So yeah they were great.

We get our exam results on Thursday. I'm not going to lie i'm absolutely terrified. See, when i'm revising for exams and sitting them i think to myself "Fuck it, i aint revising. I should just remember it all, it's basically just general knowledge innit?" and y'know. To be honest it works for me. Sometimes. So at the time i couldn't give a crap. But now it's results time i'm so scared 'cause now i think back at how shit i am at the subjects i took. Here's my rough guess at what my results will be:

Credit Maths: FAIL.

General Maths: 3:3 if i'm lucky.

Credit Biology: FAIL.

General Biology: ...Fail?

Home Ec: Maybe a B or an A (i don't want to sound over-confident 'cause then i'll fail xD)
Music: B **fingers crossed**
Art: C? Can you get a D? I did so badly xD
Modern Studies: FAIL.
Product Design: FAIL. (But i had 2 years worth of amazing banter in that class thanks to Amy and Kyle <3 The teacher was a bitch though, made it more fun XD)

And i think that's all the subjects i took? Maybe. Yeah. So i shall blog again with my results to compare.

Gosh this is such a long post. Sorry to bore you. xD I'm sure there was something else i was going to write but it's completely gone out of my head. Hrrrrrmmmm. Oh well. I shall leave you now. I can hear the sighs of relief xD

A Sincere Apology..

Okay i really am sorry that i haven't blogged in so long. I guess nothing interesting has happened in my life recently.
Wait a minute what am i saying? Let's have a quick review of what has happened recently, shall we?
Well duh, last day of school.
Saw P!nk. Have i blogged about that? I don't think i got round to it.
I dyed my hair red.
We drove down to Alton Towers.
We went to Alton Towers.
We drove home.
Played laser tag.
Walked around Glasgow with Free Hugs signs.
Me and Morv soaked each other at the loch.
Started to learn Contact Juggling. If you don't know what it is, youtube it. And before you say it, no! It's not as easy as it looks!
I decided what i'm going as for this Halloween. :'] Yes i'm aware i'm a bit early.
I urhmm picked up my Hadouken tickets. Which is this Friday and i'm uber excited about.
I saw Toy Story 3.
I apparently managed to persuade my mother to build a small summer house in the bottom of the garden and let me live there. O.o **fingers crossed**

[I have a random urge to go bake cookies suddenly]...[Just thought you'd like to know]...

I can't really think of anything else that has happened. So i shall end it there. I'd love to write about some of these events in detail but it's just too much to write about. :']
